Process
I created Land On Socks because it embodies my passion for the great outdoors. Believing gear should be both functional and enjoyable, I drew inspiration from esteemed brands like Smart Wool and Life is Good. With strong attention to detail, I carefully designed the branding guide for Land On Socks, ensuring it embodies the essence of adventure while maintaining a commitment to quality and style. Our ethos is one of cheerfulness and warmth, reflected in our primary logo's playful caramel bubble font. The secondary logo, which I dubbed "The Wayfaring Man," keeps with the brand colors as well as feel. It was designed to symbolize Land On's value of exploration. The color palette for both logos was crucial to the project. It needed to be bright and fun but also have enough contrast to be usable.
